Cute Shirt!

Maggie loves her new shirt!

She never looks at the camera!

Her Serious face.

Wii!!

David doesn't like to lose... and Sarah smoked him at the dueling game they were playing. As you can see he was very happy... Sarah 4, David 0!

That is Sarah's Mii, and her perfect game score!

David found us a Wii on Craigslist! We got super lucky and got a great deal! We have been playing it almost every night since and have stayed up WAY TOO LATE!! It's just too fun!

Power Struggle

We bought Maggie some breathable crib bumpers so that she wouldn't put her feet through the rungs in the crib.... she of course pushes them down and does it anyway! She wins this round.

It's time for a Maggie update! We had her 6 month appointment last week and all is well! Maggie is 29" long! and 18lbs 9oz... she is a tall girl! She is eating solids twice a day and sleeping like a champ! Also she is officially sitting up and army crawling backwards. She is an amazing baby, we are so blessed!!

Quality Hudson Time

I sat in the back for the last 10 minutes of our trip down to the outlets and I took some pictures of Maggie.

This is how she felt about that.

Her shy smile.

Maggie is as tall as Russell... Russell is ONE! (and so adorable) It's crazy how big Maggie is getting!

Maggie sat in a high chair at the restaurant for the first time!!! She loved it!

Cool just like his Daddy... :)

The boys.

The Mommies with their babies.

The Daddies with their babies.

It was so good to see the Hudson's even if it was a quick trip. We had a ton of fun, we went to the Seattle outlets and walked around and shopped a bit (mostly for the kiddos). Then we went to dinner at Bob's Burger! What a great Sunday!

Saturday

I finally broke in our Jogger on Saturday. Maggie and I went out for a run which is going to become our Saturday ritual from now on. My friend Mandy and I are going to start running and going to the farmers market every Saturday morning. Maggie loved the jogger, she even fell asleep!

Then we went swimming with our friends Karen and Sydney and Karen's mom. That is Maggie in her new bathing suit (though it will be the only time she will ever wear it since I lost the bottoms), she really loves looking at herself in the mirror.

This is Sydney, Maggies friend. She is such a doll!!! We have so much fun with them!!

This Morning

Mommy got me ready for the day and since I was so talkative she decided to video tape me, it's a little long but it's not everyday I let Mommy catch me on video!

Raspberry Festival

This is Maggie at the beginning of our jaunt through the Raspberry festival. (if you enlarge it you can really see her tired eyes) This was actually Maggie's first time riding in her stroller without the carseat... she is growing sooooo fast!

Here is David talking cars while looking at cars.... He was on the phone with Papa talking about his Jeep.

More of the cute old cars.

The Raspberry festival is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament in downtown Lynden with a Street fair and a Car Show, OH! and GREAT FOOD!!! We had some BBQ and it was delish!

I thought this was a cool truck, it looks like something out of the movie "Cars".

This is Maggie at the end of our jaunt through the Raspberry festival! she was exhausted!!

Berry Picking

We went berry picking on Saturday with our friend Mandy! It was so fun. I was so good about putting sunscreen on Maggie but I forgot about myself! So, I went home sunburned but it was worth it!

The beginnings of our raspberry picking.

Here I am picking away...

David and Maggie, she hated the hat that day for some reason! :)

Where's Maggie?

The fruit of our labor (literally). I think we picked WAY too many blueberries! Time for some Jam!!

Green Beans

Mommy made me some Green Bean baby food this past weekend and I got to try it for the first time ever... it was interesting! I already like it better than I did on Sunday... watch me try it for the first time!

I love my Abuelitos!!

Here I am looking at a picture of my Abuelito Felipe and Abuelita Maria. I love them and miss them very much! This day I kept reaching for the picture so Daddy brought it down for me so that I could look at them and love on them.

Happy 4th of July!

Mommy made a delicious Fruit Pizza for the 4th of July this year! It has a sugar cookie crust which she made with whole wheat pastry flour, home made vanilla frosting, blueberries, raspberries and whipped cream! Tasty treat!

Mommy FINALLY got a picture of me smiling!! This is a rare occasion!

Daddy is so handsome... here we are all patriotic!

Nana Jo got me this cute hat and it matched my outfit perfectly!!

Here I am with my daddy showing off my flexibility! I was so tired after a long day of celebrating and I just wanted to cuddle Daddy!

Homemade Baby Food!

I decided that I was going to make my own Baby food, I went to the Green Barn in Lynden, WA and bought some local pears. It was super easy to do, all I did was peal, core, chop and boil the pears. Then I pureed them in the blender! The canning was the hardest part but even that seemed pretty easy! It made 10 jars and a jar is about 5 servings!

Maggie really likes it so far (as you can see in the video) which makes me really happy!! Next is green beans -- I'll be sure to have the camera ready for the facial expressions!

Dinner Time

I love eating my cereal in the evening when I get home. Mommy made me some pureed pears (which she canned) and they are mixed with some oatmeal cereal... yum! yum! yum! They are so tasty!! Watch me eat... I am such a big girl.

(Maggie really is a happy girl, she even has a cold in this video and she is still her normal smiley self.)

Daddy Graduated!

This is a picture of me with my Grandpa Kevin at Daddy's graduation. Daddy graduated on June 23rd. The camera almost died (of course) so mommy didn't get as many pictures as she would have liked. Hopefully Auntie Sarah and Uncle Reid can share theirs with us!!

Here is Daddy waiting for his name to be called.

And here He is GRADUATING!

Nana Jo got Daddy a cake to celebrate, I hear it was pretty yummy! We are so proud of him... he worked so hard and now he is done! We love you Daddy!!!

Close up shot of the cool cake! Yum, yum, yum!

Swim Time

I got to go swimming for the first time ever last weekend with my friend Sydney. It was so fun! I made sure to splash my Mommy every chance I got.

This me with my mommy and Sydney with her mommy (Karen). I have lots of fun with them!!

I am great at floating.

I am also great at kicking!!

I loved playing with this pool noodle!

Daddy twisted it like a pretzel so that I could use it as a flotation device.

Daddy came with us though he didn't swim because he was the camera man. I can't wait until we get to go again!
