Smiles and Deliruim...

Contrary to popular belief, Benjamin does smile.
Isn't he sweet?

This is Maggie before shopping....

This is AFTER. haha.

No, what really happened was that she didn't know I took the first picture... when she realized I was taking pictures she said:

"Ok Mommy, take a picture of me...."

And that is the face she made. She thought she was pretty funny. It's kind of fun to see her silly personality come out. She definitely gets it from David.

Christmas Preparations!

Here is our lovely Advent wreath, this year it is being lit by candles that our beautiful niece Natalie made.

Here is our Gingerbread house, Maggie decorated it. I did the frosting but she put every piece of candy on.

It was a messy project but we had tons of fun doing it. The Advent season is so much more fun with kids around!

"Oh, Christmas Tree..."

Here is our lovely Christmas tree. Maggie is really into preparing for Christmas this year.
She was really excited to decorate the tree and diligently helped make it beautiful.

Here are this years Christmas PJ's. Anything that twirls is perfect for Maggie, so I couldn't resist these cute PJ's.

Here is Ben with Maggie, he is also wearing his Christmas pj's. He is my little elf. :)

Sydney Turns 3!

Sydney had her 3rd birthday party at the Whatcom Children's Museum. It was SO FUN!

They had a photo booth set up where you could dress up and take goofy pictures. As you can see these pictures came out blurry... I was laughing too hard to take a good picture.

it was such a fun party, they had all sorts of activities for the kids.

They had yummy cupcakes.

Here is our Maggie enjoying her cupcake.

Spin art.
It's pretty cool and easy.

Getting ready to spin...
And Voila! The masterpiece.

Benjamin pt. 2

Benjamin just LOVES his sister. Every morning when they get up, Maggie comes up and says "Good morning Benny!" and he answers her with a huge grin and a gurgle or coo.
Maggie was keeping him entertained while I cleaned the bathroom....

Here he is in the kitchen sink... though he is already too big to be bathed there.

Benjamin is growing so quickly!!! He has already grown 5 inches since he was born.
He had his two month appointment and measured 24.5 inches and weighed 13.9lbs.

He is such a doll. So smiley and loving, we are all in love with our little boy!

Playing Catch Up

Our most recent family picture taken on Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful day with the Marshall side. We have so much to be thankful for. Here are some more fun PICTURES of our fun day.
Here is Maggie on Halloween pretending to play the cello like her Auntie Amanda... on her ukulele.

Trick or Treating with Sydney... er um, Rapunzel.

Benjamin as cute as a button.

Dressed like a little man, ready for Mass.

This picture is OLD. I just couldn't resist posting it. It was taken almost a whole year ago when the Alexander bunch came up to visit! Can you believe how much Maggie has grown in one year!?!

This was taken July 2011, 4 generations. Aren't my momma and abuelita beautiful?

Benjamin

Born: 9/16/11
weight: 6lbs 11oz
length: 19.5 inches

He was 3 weeks early... but ready to go!

Punky Brewster (AKA: Maggie)

This morning, I pulled out Maggie's skirt and Hello Kitty shirt for her to wear... well she added her red shoes and purple sweater. I thought she looked so cute (and Punky Brewster-esque) that I had to capture it.

We decided we should send Abita (Abuelita) a video saying hello. It turned out so darn cute I had to share.

Some Fun Pictures

This is a picture of Benjamin at 28wks... 8 weeks ago!!! Gosh, time has flown!

Maggie playing in the tub, she is at such a fun age.
Below is a picture of Maggie on one of our coffee dates. Usually we go to my doctor's appointment and if Maggie does well we go get chocolate coffee (hot chocolate). She loves it.

The Hudson's came to visit a couple months ago. It was great for us to see our Godson Russell and Baby Max and  for Maggie to see her Godparents Paul and Katie.

Maggie is fascinated by hula hoops and she can't wait to be able to ACTUALLY do it on her own. Here are some videos of David helping her.

It has been a LONG time...

I am so sorry it has been so long since I last posted. My only excuse is that I am tired most nights when I get home and I ALWAYS forget to get on the computer to blog.

As you can see above my belly has popped... I am now 25 weeks and feeling great. Benjamin is kicking like a champ. At times I am surprised at how long he is already... I will feel simultaneous bumps at the bottom and the top of my belly. He will be tall like his dad!

Maggie is so fun. There is no other word to describe this age. Fun. She is also sweet... she is getting more and more excited to be a big sister. Most nights she will talk to Benjamin and help me sing to him. She always tells him to hurry up and come out. It melts my heart.

This month we got to be the Farmer's Day Parade in Lynden. The picture above is Maggie on a tractor that was hauling a rake . She had so much fun waving and honking the horn any chance she got.

This picture was taken on Father's day (which is shy we had donuts). She chose chocolate and then proceeded to show us the proper way to eat it... chocolate first! Like mother like daughter.

This picture makes my heart hurt a little... she is looking more like a little girl and less like a toddler. I am not ready for my baby to grow up.

Yesterday the ladies in our ultrasound department here at work decided to take a 3D peek at Benjamin. I know that are a little creepy... but I think it's so neat that you can see some distinct facial features. His little lips are already kissable... and he has David's nose. I am in love.

In this shot I think he looks like Maggie. I am excited for him to make his appearance... it will be a whole new experience to have a boy. I can't wait!!

New Pictures!

We had our Session with Rebecca Brethauer! She is wonderful!

I was lucky enough to book her on my birthday, what a great way to document my 29th! If you want to see more pictures click HERE.

On another note, I am now 15 weeks and feeling great! Baby is about the size of a navel orange and is growing like crazy. I have felt a few flutters recently and I am looking forward to more normal movement. We go in on May 13th for my 2nd Trimester ultrasound, and Lord willing we will be able to see whether it will be baby brother or baby sister. Can't wait!

Tomorrow

Untitled from Liliana Marshall on Vimeo.

Maggie loves to sing! Here she is singing "Tomorrow"...

Random Maggie

Last night while I was in the bathroom, Maggie and David hid from me. I found them in her tent. She was so happy to have her Daddy crammed in there with her.

Maggie loves "toffee"... (coffee, which is really steamed milk with half a pump of chocolate). The other day we went to get some tires put on my car and we had some time to kill so we walked to Starbucks... then she asked to go to Best Buy to play video games. Like father like daughter.

(At Best Buy)

Maggie loves to pretend... the other night she was pretending to work on paperwork. As you can see it is SERIOUS business.

Lynden City Park

Maggie and I went to the park the other day. She has been begging me to take her and I told her that as soon as we got a dry day we would go. She had so much fun.
In the picture above she is pretending that it's a drive up window, she kept charging me $4.00 for imaginary chicken nuggets.

She is very independent... she doesn't need my help anymore. She wanted me to wait for her at the bottom.

Funny thing about Maggie... she LOVES tractors. It's because Daddy works on them. The other day we went to visit David for lunch and when we got out of the car she looked up to a Claas tractor and she said: "Mommy, tractors are beautiful!"

Swimming Fun

One of the swim instructors at the YMCA has an under water camera...

Maggie just recently started going all the way in and she thinks it's so fun!

Can you see her nails are painted so pretty!!

She can touch! She is getting so TALL!
