Maggie Time

On Sunday morning Maggie wanted to have a leisurely morning of reading in her crib.

I had to get ready for church so I was happy that she would be occupied...

The Joys of a Cardboard Box!

It has always amazed me how much fun a box can be...

We were going to take this box out to the recycling bin but Maggie insisted that it was her box....

It's just the perfect size to fit Miss Maggie!

Maggie and Honey (her name for her doll) just hangin' out in the box.

The first video is of Maggie celebrating that the neighbors below us moved out and the apartment is now vacant which means there is LOTS of jumping going on!

Tinker Bell, Tinker Bell, Tinker All the Way...

This year instead of singing "Jingle Bells", Maggie sings "Tinker Bell"... So, we thought that it would be fitting to have her ornament of 2010 be Tinker Bell this year.
Maggie loves it, every time she turns on the Christmas tree she checks on Tinker bell.

Christmas this year is going to be so fun!!

The Many Faces of Maggie

Maggie and Momma... isn't she beautiful?

Cheesy grin!

Sweet smile.

BIG KISS!

Small kiss.

Blue steele??

Maggie is growing so fast... and she is so fun. Though she did get sick of the picture taking and told me to put the camera away. She even brought me the case. haha.

Gettin' Ready for Christmas

It really is the most wonderful time of the year! I am usually excited for Christmas but this year the excitement level is at an all time high!! Maggie is more aware this year and it makes things way more fun for us!

Maggie and I went to Michael's today and got some stuff to make an Advent Wreath. Believe it or not, we have never owned one... but now we do! I purchased a Styrofoam ring, garland, holly, and candles and went to town.

The finished product! When David saw it he thought I bought one instead of making it...
what a compliment!!

This morning Maggie and I put together our gingerbread house...

Not bad for our first attempt! Especially when you have tiny two year old fingers involved. It was kinda funny because I had Maggie convinced that it was all fake candy so she didn't eat any! hehe..

(Maggie is missing from these pictures because she didn't want to be in any of them!)

Catching Up

Maggie is all set up for winter, she loves wearing her mittens and hat... she also has a snow suit that matches her coat. It's pink overload really... which I love of course!! haha.

I know I have been a terrible blogger... but here are a few pictures that I have been meaning to post!!

These two girls are so cute together! They are always so happy to see each other... as you can see Sydney was a giraffe.

Snow White... er, I mean Maggie.

Daddy's little princess.

Downtown Bellingham.

Maggie and Sydney kept holding hands.... so cute.

Tired but happy girl.

I love these two so much!

Maggie's favorite new word that day was "CANNY!!".

Maggie at swim lessons.

These two are so cute.

Here are a few videos of Maggie and Sydney at swim lessons. Swim lessons are so fun, we sing songs and practice scooping arms and kicking feet... also we practice jumping in.

December is Upon Us!

I can't believe how fast time flies by, before we know it it will be January and Maggie will be 2!!! I was looking at pictures from last year and I am amazed at how much Maggie has changed! Last year at this time Maggie was just starting to walk. The picture above was taken last year, and I just love it.

This year we got to meet Santa! Maggie was a bit hesitant... she didn't cry so that was good. Santa came out and we went and shook his hand first, then Maggie said she would sit and take a picture if I sat with her too. We kept trying to get Maggie to smile big... and believe it or not... THIS IS her happy face. You can tell she is thinking, "hmmmmm.... I am not too sure about this..."

Maggie is so much fun, she loves to sing and dance and TALK... wonder where she gets that. She is funny, and loves to giggle with her Daddy.
Above she is modeling Christmas gear at Wal-Mart.

This past weekend we got to participate in the Lynden Christmas light parade. David worked really hard to get this JCB 8250 cleaned up and glowing with Christmas lights. Maggie was so excited to 'help Daddy drive'. She sat on his lap all through the parade and got to honk the horn.

And Last but not least here is a short video of Maggie playing dress up and twirling like a princess...

I you can't tell, David and Maggie are watching 'Enchanted' which is why Maggie was feeling like a princess.
