Pretty Flowers

When I got home from my trip to California David had a little mother's day surprise for me. I know it isn't 'much' but it was very special to me. He gave me my very first Mother's Day card ever and some beautiful roses. It felt wonderful to be called a mother... and I also realized how lucky I am to have David. He is going to be a great daddy... now what to do for Father's Day....???

Dia de las Madres

So, I mentioned in my first post that I flew down to So. Cal. to surprise my mom for Mother's Day... and boy was she surprised. It was so cute. The plan was that I would fly into Cali before her so that I could pick her up at the airport...

To make a long and confusing story short... I told her to call me when she landed in Cali so that I would know that she made it there safe. Little did she know that I was going to be in the back seat of my uncles car when she got in. She of course hadn't called me yet soooo when she went to get in the car I said "Mom, you haven't called me yet!!" she looked at and screamed out "LILIANA!!!" Then she started crying (of course) and we hugged. It was like out of a movie... or so she says. It was definitely nice to be able to do that for her... however on the way to my grandma's she lectured me on why I shouldn't scare or startle people like that because they could have a heart attack. Hahahaha... oh well, atleast I got to do it once.

I really was blessed to be able to go down and see some of my favorite people. I am so blessed to have such a big and loving family... I already miss them and I can't wait to be able to go down again.

This cartoon made me laugh out loud... I seriously took ANOTHER test today! I guess it all just feels too good to be true. Just thought I would share my sillyness!!

Mother's Day

This was a wonderfully crazy Mother's Day... full of surprises. As all of you know I flew down to California to surprise my mom... (she was down there surprising her Mom). However the day before I left I had a little surprise of my own! I found out that there was a reason for my lack of energy and dizzy spells... that's right I found out I am pregnant!

When I took the test I seriously thought that it would be negative... but it wasn't it was a big huge plus sign, I couldn't believe it. Soooo, I took another test and lo and behold it was positive! I am not sure why I didn't believe the first test... I guess i felt it was too good to be true. David and I weren't really trying and I am sure that if you would have asked we'd have told you that we weren't ready. However, we couldn't be happier!!! We feel really blessed and already love our little one.

We know that we have a long way ahead of us but we are looking forward to every up and down that our little bundle of joy will bring! Please keep us in your prayers... that my pregnancy would be smooth and complication free!
