Hair Cut... :(

Mommy and Daddy cut my hair last night. They thought it might grow in a bit more even if they cut it short. If I could talk I would have told them that it was a bad idea... but alas I can't. It's not too bad though I do look a little different.

Mommy tried to camouflage it with a bow this morning... what do you think??

Rice Cereal

I have officially started eating rice cereal in the evenings before my bath! At first it was really weird and it tasted weird to me but now I am digging it! the other new developments are that I am rolling from my back to my tummy and sitting up all on my own... we will post videos and pictures of that soon!

Meanies!

On Monday before we came home my mommy and daddy decided that I didn't get to nap until we were in the car. I usually go down for my morning nap between 9 and 10 but we didn't leave until 11... so as you can see I was pretty tired.


Daddy propped me up on the bed while he and mommy packed and I was trying so hard to stay awake.


Then they put me in Russell's highchair while the grown-ups ate breakfast. I started zoning out and almost falling asleep with my eyes open!

I fell asleep as soon as they put me in the carseat, and slept for 2 hours! It was great!

Russell and Maggie

I got to hang out with Russell a lot and it was so fun.

My mommy and Godmother got Russell and me matching his and hers PJ's.

They say "I'm a Good Egg" on them and they have a picture of an Easter Egg wearing sunglasses.

Mommy had to put this picture up because she likes the look I am giving Russell... hahahah.

Mommy put me in Russell's Jonny Jump Up and I thought is was so fun! Though Russell wanted to play too and as you can see he was just about to tap me on the head before my Godmother stopped him!

And that is why he was put in his exersaucer! He couldn't get to me from there!!

Ahhhh.... Holiday Traveling

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Yakima to visit my Godparents for the long weekend... as you can see it was what everybody else did too. As you can see we were stuck in traffic.... we were stuck in the pass for 1 hour and a half... Luckily I slept through it!


Note to Mommy and Daddy... no more traveling to Central Washington on Memorial Day Weekend!

Whaaaaaaaaat???

This is me when I found out I have to sit in my car seat for 4 hours on Friday when we go to Yakima...

(Ok really it's me right before my bath and mommy caught me by surprise... she wanted to get a picture of my crazy hair!)

Rosary

For my Baptism my Auntie Becky gave me this Rosary that she made! It usually hangs above my changing table but last night I decided to pull it down so I could play with it! I wouldn't let mommy take it from me... it was just too pretty! ( and tasty I might add... since I like to put everything in my mouth)

Lazy Sunday

On Sunday we had Rebecca Brethauer (check out her blog on the list of blogs we follow) over for my 4 month photo session. Mommy and Daddy and I took some pictures of our own while we were waiting for Rebecca to come over. Mommy realized we don't have many pictures of all three of us so we took a 'self-portrait'. Daddy has pretty long arms so he took the picture. Though I forgot to smile...

Mommy decided to put me in the dress my Tita (great gramma Cristina) got me before I was even born! It fit me perfectly and I looked oh so adorable!! Here I am with my daddy.

We can't wait to see the pictures Rebecca took, we tried a lot of different poses and locations. We did some in my room and then we went outside and tried some out in the grass. I had never felt the grass between my toes... it was so cool that I wanted to grab it and put it in my mouth! We can't wait to share those pictures with you all!!

Check Up

Today was my four month check up! My mommy and grandma Jo took me in and the Doctor gave me an A+!!! He was so nice! They weighed and measured me, I am now 14lbs 10oz and measure 26 inches! I am in the 95 percentile for my height because I take after daddy! Mommy said I was such a brave big girl because I didn't even cry very much when they gave me my shots!! (I think Mommy had a harder time with it than I did)

The Doctor gave my Mommy some tips on how to switch me to regular formula instead of soy and he said we could start me on some solids whenever Mommy felt comfortable. I say BRING IT ON... and make sure you have the camera!

Fox News and Maggie

I was really into America's Newsroom this morning and Mommy took a picture! Megyn Kelly and Bill Hemmer are really good... they always seem to keep my attention and they keep me up to date on all of the breaking news! :)

Happy Mother's Day

I hope you all had a great Mother's day! My mommy did. She was happy to have family over for brunch and to spend the day relaxing. She kept bragging all day about how Daddy pampered her and she felt so loved!

Mommy took these pictures of me with the bow from her gift... she is silly.

I am giving you knuckles because it was my four month birthday on Sunday also!! I am getting so big! Blow it up dog... he he. (That's a shout out to my Daddy and Godfather)

P.S. Mommy says she wishes my Abuelitos and Tio Fernando could have been here for brunch... we love you and miss you so much!

Last night daddy was bathing me and I started splashing and laughing! Though, as soon as mommy showed up with the camera I quit laughing.... I like doing that to her all the time!



Mommy and Daddy bought me this new toy! It so fun... I still am trying to figure it all out and I get a bit tired, but I love working my legs out!!

Swaddle-less sleeper

This morning Mommy was doing laundry and she set me down in my crib with my blankie so that she could move some clothes over to the dryer... anyway... she was surprised to find me asleep, (without being swaddled) after being laid on my back WIDE AWAKE. I guess she found this picture worthy! hahaha. For the last week or so I have been waking up with my arms out of my swaddle anyway... so I guess Mommy is going to try to put me down tonight swaddle-less... one more sign that I am growing so fast!!

Bumbo

Mommy and Daddy bought me this Bumbo a couple weeks ago. They noticed that I love sitting up like a big girl so they thought it would be a good purchase. I do love sitting in it and it is actually helping sit up without it!

On another note, Mommy would like for me to tell you all that she is sorry we haven't posted in a while! We were both really sick last week and now it's Daddy's turn (don't worry no piggy flu for us! Just a measly cold)! Mommy hasn't taken very many pictures recently... but promises to take more soon!
